GOVGAB.GOV: THE BLOG WITH INFORMATION YOU CAN TRUST

The blogosphere is full of interesting information, and you love being able to leave comments and feedback. But how can you be sure the “facts” you’re getting are legitimate? Gov Gab: Your U.S. government blog (www.govgab.gov) is the blog you can trust because it is brought to you by the Federal government, the same folks who maintain Pueblo.gsa.gov and USA.gov—your trusted sources of government information for over 35 years.

Gov Gab tackles issues and problems you deal with in daily life using the services and products Uncle Sam has available to help you out. Want to change your voter registration? Need tips on eating organic, avoiding scams, or “going green”? Gov Gab has an entry for it all.

Postings are updated daily, written by a different blogger each weekday. Click on Meet the Bloggers for a brief biography and photo of each one. Each is an employee of the Federal Citizen Information Center, part of the U.S. General Services Administration’s Office of Citizen Services. And it’s their jobs to educate you about government resources that make your daily life better, easier, more interesting, and more fun. The bloggers have such a wide range of backgrounds and interests, you’re sure to find one you can relate to. They put a human face on the Federal government.

Do you agree or disagree with a posting? Have additional tips or insight on a particular topic? Feel free to join the online conversation by leaving a comment. Want to reach a specific blogger? Shoot them an e-mail. Use Gov Gab’s search tool to look up posts on a specific subject. Sign up for an RSS feed and Gov Gab will automatically send you updates. Check out the archive for any posts you may have missed.

Looking for genuine tips and information in the blogosphere can be daunting when you don’t know who you can trust. Turn to Gov Gab: Your U.S. government blog for official, practical information approved by the Federal government. It’s government made easy.
