In the event of an emergency or disaster situation, is your family prepared? Lots of us aren’t, but the Your Family Disaster Supplies Kit publication from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the American Red Cross can help. This publication provides all the necessary steps to assemble your own at-home kit. It lists, item by item, specifically what you will need in terms of water, food, first-aid supplies, tools, sanitation items and family documents. This publication costs 50¢. Get your copy and start preparing by sending your name, address, and a check or money order for 50¢ to the Federal Citizen Information Center, Dept. 323P, Pueblo, CO 81009.
